Joshua joined Morphum Environmental in mid-2023, bringing experience working with Safe software FME, geospatial programming and ESRI’s ArcGIS software.
Joshua completed his Bachelor of Applied Science studies at Otago University and Brock University in Canada majoring in Environmental Management. He then completed his Postgraduate Certificate in Geospatial Science and Technology at Canterbury University.
Joshua has developed a keen eye for automation techniques to create time efficient workflows and deliverables. Joshua previously worked as a GIS technician with Eliot Sinclair, contributing to geospatial management processes and working on projects related to farm irrigation management, property development, and geotechnical support for flood response.
His passion for the environment, adaptive technology and sustainable outcomes has been a driver in all aspects of his life, including his career. Now that Joshua is part of Morphum, he is excited to share his knowledge of automating geospatial processes and collaborate with like-minded people who value Aotearoa as much as he does.
Outside of work, Joshua can be found on the squash court, golf course, playing guitar, or off exploring New Zealand’s outdoors.
