Morphum Environmental undertook assessment of the impact of stormwater outfalls on Melbourne’s Werribee River for Wyndham City Council.
The project aimed to assess environmental impacts, including condition, erosion and ecological assessments, and to identify and give guidance on any required remedial works.
Typical areas of concern with regards to stormwater outfalls discharging into waterways include quality of the stormwater being discharged, erosive impacts of the outfall discharge, and stream bank stability.
Field assessment of approximately 2.6 kilometres of watercourse encompassing 20 stormwater outfall sites.
