Morphum Environmental conducted a flora and fauna desktop assessment for VicRoads, which served to identify likely construction impacts upon the surrounding flora and fauna resulting from a planned culvert upgrade.
Relevant policies; acts; and local, state and Commonwealth Government legislative requirements were highlighted and considered as part of the flora and fauna assessment methodology.
At the planning stages of the culvert upgrade, the purpose of the flora and fauna assessment is to provide due diligence, and to protect the region's biodiversity by ensuring that the project meets legislative obligations.
Following successful delivery of the desktop assessment, Morphum Environmental was subsequently engaged to undertake a more in-depth field survey for VicRoads.
